Planning Ahead

Whether your absence is last minute or pre-planned, it’s always nice to have a stand-alone activity that is ready to go! There’s nothing worse than being sick and then having to spend an hour putting together plans for your class. One strategy that I’ve started using is Design Day Challenges! With technology changing at the speed of light I try to expose my students to the many career opportunities they have and help them to envision their future (and be future thinking!)

Exposing your students to Careers in Tech

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
